Tortoise is the new neutral! It’s stylish and classy, but the BEST part is that it truly matches with anything. Earlier this month, I demonstrated how to style it (see previous post: How-To Style Guide: Tortoise Shell Accents). I love this trend so much that I decided to keep the conversation going. I put YOUR skills to the test by challenging the always-fabulous members of my Polyvore group ‘What’s In Your Closet?‘ Here’s the results!

Over 40 entries were entered and it was really tough to judge. All of them were so lovely in their own way! The above photo carousel (click ‘right’ arrow to see more) displays the top 3 winners of the contest. These sets are so beautiful, both artistically and fashionably. The color palettes on each are completely perfect for the Fall season and the tortoise accent gives each that extra ounce of class!
