Let Your Hair Be Your Accessory
Accessories are known to be anything from jewelry to handbags and shoes; really anything that serves as an accent to a look. But hair? A fancy or intricate hair ‘do can easily steal the show! This is because anyone can buy an accessory but a braid, even if it’s simple to do, tends to be a ‘wow’ factor because it looks complicated.
I’m a huge fan of braids! I don’t wear them as much these days, but it was once my trademark look. So for this post, I decided to go back to the basics as far as my look goes and focus on the hair.
THE LOOK

Once you can do a basic french braid, you can really do any type of braid. Or at least that’s what I think! I do anything from a fishtail to a wrap-around french braid and even a 5-strand braid. This particular braid is what I call an infinity braid. I call it that because it seems to just go on forever! All of my hair is swept to one side and french braided from the top of my head all the way down to the ends of my hair. This time I just did a regular french braid, but I usually go a french braid into a 5-strand braid. Who else loves braids?

Love this post! I definitely think hair can make or break an outfit so it's one of my favorite accessories per say. Love the braid! I personally don't think I can pull off a bread so I get so jealous when girls look amazing in braids and you look great girl. Also loved reading your about me! I work in fashion as well, specifically at Teen Vogue so I love finding other fashion girls!

Can you believe I just can't seem to master the French Braid? I'm not sure if it's because I just don't know how to do it, or if my hair is too fine/thin to cooperate!

You are so right, your hair is as much an accessory as anything else – hence why it drives us nuts when it doesn't look the way we want it to!
