Where Do You Find Your Style Inspiration?

When it comes to fashion, inspiration comes from everywhere. You could be inspired by your favorite TV show, your best friend, or even a stranger on the street! After all, fashion is an expression of self. We are ever evolving and strongly influenced by our environment, so it makes complete sense. Where does my inspiration come from? The majority of it comes from the media; television, celebrities, and the internet. And by the internet, I mean everything from fellow bloggers to e-blasts from my favorite retailers and even applications, such as Instagram and Stylekick.

This particular look was inspired from browsing Stylekick, an app where
bloggers can share their favorite looks and tag the clothing items in
the photo. I chose this photo of a top blogger, Blaire Eadie of Atlantic-Pacific,
and recreated a similar look. It’s fun because I had these pieces in my
closet already, except for my DIY bow belt, but I hadn’t thought of
pairing them together. It just goes to show how other people can open
your eyes to new possibilities!
