The Two M’s: Military Jackets & Midi Skirts

Military jackets are one of my all time favorite trends! I don’t care if it’s in or out of style or season because I am rocking one of these babies anyway. The truth is, I just have this special place in my heart for jackets and blazers. The military style is especially fabulous, in my opinion, because of the amazing details. The buttons are always big and glamorous, while there’s often some sort of intricate embroidery to compliment it.

I recently realized that I don’t have one in my closet. So, I searched high and wide- and this is what I came up with!

This INC International Concepts military jacket from Macy’s is a fantastic addition to my wardrobe! Although I’m still keeping an eye out for one with a bit more detailing, I love this jacket because it’s a classic. The silhouette is typical military style, while the coloring is the standard taupe. It also comes in black, white, and a bright coral (new!).

While summer is just around the corner, the material is very lightweight. I expected more of a denim jacket weight, but it’s actually more like a cargo jacket. This makes it perfect for all seasons, particularly summer and spring!

It’s no secret I love a good midi skirt! So, today I’m combining two favorites of mine; military jackets and midi skirts. It’s not exactly a classic pairing, but I think mixing up your favorites always works.
