3 Key Elements To Planning A Perfect Blogger Meet-Up
A few weeks ago, I mentioned here on the blog that I was looking forward to an upcoming blogger meet-up. Well, here it is! Last weekend, our Tri-State Blogger Network- as I call it- had a meet-up at Ladurée in SoHo hosted by Monica of Jersey Girl, Texan Heart. The group has been to this venue before but I couldn’t attend that time, so I was really excited to check this place out! The service was average but the food was absolutely delish!
So, what exactly does it take to plan THE perfect blogger meet-up?
You know it’s a blogger meet-up when there’s too-pretty-to-eat desserts & lipstick stained glasses! Thank you Diane and Simone for lending your food and beverage for my photography!

I’m certainly not an expert, but Monica from Jersey Girl, Texan Heart always plans our meet-ups to perfection! As a professional Event Planner and consistent meet-up attendee, I’ve picked up a thing or two along the way.
So, here’s my 3 Key Elements For A Perfect Blogger Meet-Up!
1- Old & New Friends
When I attended our first meet-up, I was so nervous! We had all just met at Lucky FABB 2013 but this was all still very new territory for me. This group is very nice and welcoming, so it’s always a warm and friendly atmosphere. What makes it the most interesting as we do this more and more is catching up with old friends while meeting new friends! Monica never excludes anyone that may want to come, so every time I get to catch up or learn more about someone I already know and meet someone completely new. It keeps things interesting and exciting!
2- Venue & Food
While it isn’t the center of everything, anyone that plans events knows how important this can be. The service and food takes the backseat to the chit-chatting but if the service is poor or the food stinks, it can affect the entire mood of the event. Luckily, this has never happened to us! Monica always picks the best places, but it’s a challenge to get reservations in the city so it’s never an easy task. Also- and this goes for bloggers and regular events alike- you want to make sure you choose a venue with an appealing set-up and decor because it will be the backdrop of most of your photos!
3- Central Location
Since we’re a Tri-State Blogger group, we always meet in NYC! We’re so lucky that we have the luxury of a fabulous mid-point since the ladies from our group are from NJ, NY, and CT. This always makes it super convenient for everyone and it’s great to be able to take public transportation. You can sit back and relax… or Instagram your on-my-way shot!

And it’s not a meet-up without the fashion! I love living my life like a runway, so I take every opportunity I can to play dress-up and try out new looks. Of course, meeting with fellow fashion enthusiasts- aka bloggers- in the city is the ultimate opportunity for that! I went back and forth about what to wear and landed on this new number from F21, my signature bow belt, and my favorite Topshop sandals.

Of course, I couldn’t leave without these gorgeously boxed french macarons! How pretty is their presentation?
French macarons are one of my absolute favorite desserts!

What a great post full of fabulous photos and tips. I too love macaroons though I only tried them for the first time, last year. And of course it looks like Macaroons are fashion bloggers' favorite desserts. That raspberry dessert looks divine though. And you look so pretty in how you styled this loely striped dress. Love the layered long vest over it.
Looks like so much fun! I love getting to connect with other bloggers. And macaroons?! Who can beat that?
