It’s Friday! Congrats on making it through the first full work week following the holiday! You worked hard this week.. let’s reward you with another edition of Trends For Less! This week we’re covering nature-inspired pieces for the summer. I’m always drawn to pieces inspired by the beauty that surrounds us. Birds, flowers, feathers, leaves- I love it all! Where better to get style inspiration than right there in front of you? Given how much there is around us, there are so many variations on these types of trends. That makes it a trend you want to save on when it comes to money.

In the above set, I featured TOPSHOP banana leaf printed shorts. Leafy prints are a huge trend right now, so this is definitely on my list of must-haves for the summer season. These shorts are also 100% viscose, so they are silky and light- perfect for warm weather. I paired the shorts with a yellow H&M blouse. I love this pairing because of the color combination. I used analogous colors (yellow, green, and yellow-green), which means they are beside each other on the color wheel.

I accessorized with a pale yellow Ann Taylor geometric print clutch, brown Ralph Lauren espadrille wedges, and Go Jane studded wood bangles. These accessories all complement the shorts because they are each inspired by nature but in a more subtle way.
