L.A. Loving: The Farm at Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive
Our first full day in Los Angeles consisted mainly of sightseeing and photography! We- myself and Alexandra from Glory Boon– were so excited to be there and couldn’t stop snapping pics of all the beautiful sights. The first stop was breakfast at The Farm at Beverly Hills. This restaurant is known for using simple farm ingredients and is a hot spot for celebrities. Taylor Swift (love her!) was just spotted walking out of there over the summer.
I ordered the Brioche French Toast with a side of fruit and an iced tea. It was delicious and so fresh!
Our next stop was the infamous Rodeo Drive, right around the corner from the restaurant. It’s known for the most glamorous high-end shopping- Chanel, Dior, and Louis Vuitton, just to name a few. This is where all of our favorite L.A. celebrities shop!
It was absolutely pristine! Palm trees, flowers, and gorgeous boutiques; a fashion bloggers dream!
For this first day of sightseeing, I kept my look preppy and casual. My entire look was from one of my favorite stores- Kohl’s. I wore a blue striped Chaps No Iron top. I have several of this same top in different patterns and it’s perfect for traveling. It advertises ‘no iron’ and they mean it! It was in my suitcase for my six-hour flight and I was pretty active the entire day I wore it. Even as I was unpacking, I noticed it still had no wrinkles. It’s amazing! I highly recommend getting a few of these for business trips.
I paired the top with LC Lauren Conrad denim jeggings. They are so comfortable and look just like jeans!
I also wore a grey Jennifer Lopez asymmetrical faux leather jacket. This was a great jacket for the trip because it matches with everything and was the perfect weight for the lovely California weather.
Fun Fact: The blue and white striped awnings behind me belong to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, where the movie Pretty Woman was filmed!
