L.A. Loving: Mulholland Drive and Sexy Hair Event
Today I’m continuing coverage of my recent Los Angeles / Lucky FABB West trip! Yesterday I shared some photos from Day One of the trip (see previous post: L.A. Loving: The Farm at Beverly Hills and Rodeo Drive). Our first day was so jam packed with sightseeing fun that I had to split it between two posts. Our next stop was Mulholland Drive on a guided tour.
We- myself and Alexandra of Glory Boon– literally drove up a mountain for the best views of the city! We were so lucky that it was a beautiful, clear day because the view was impeccable.
One of the accessories I wore was my light grey Elle bow crossbody bag from Kohl’s. This was the perfect bag for sightseeing and traveling because it’s small and drapes across my body. I was happy to not have to hold anything but a camera!

After the tour, we walked along the Hollywood Walk of Fame and took pictures with our favorite stars! I just had to get a shot with Britney Spears’ star. I’m a longtime supporter of Britney!
That evening, we were invited to a Lucky FABB pre-event hosted by Sexy Hair. This year has been all about big, voluminous hair! So it only made sense for Sexy Hair to be promoting their Big Sexy Hair product line of hairsprays and styling products.
At the event, Lucky Magazine provided us with fabulous cocktails while Sexy Hair dry styled our hair. They gave me loose waves and finished it with their Big Sexy Hair Get Layered hairspray.
I don’t normally use a lot of product on my hair; I like to keep it au naturale! Later on in the trip, I decided to style my hair with loose curls. I applied the Get Layered spray and it worked great! My hair- which is normally pretty straight and doesn’t hold a curl for long- lasted for two days with no touch-ups! I even went to the pier, where it was very windy and it still maintained the style.
