Rakuten Affiliate Network Bonus Box
A few weeks ago, I received a big surprise from my friends at Rakuten Marketing… another bonus box! It’s nice to receive gifts but receiving an unexpected box of goodies in the mail for no specific occasion is completely different. Every quarter, Rakuten gifts a bonus box to 50 unsuspecting bloggers. To be one of the few selected is such an honor and a lovely surprise!
Continue reading to see what I received and my thoughts on some of the products. And to see what I received in my last bonus box, check out my previous post: Friday Favorites with Rakuten Affiliate Network.
1- TATCHA Dewy Skin Mist
When I first opened this, I was wondering what exactly a dewy mist was! It’s basically a moisturizing mist that works best when spritzed on after applying your regular make-up. The smell is pleasant and it only took one spritz to give my skin a nice glow. My make-up was completely unaffected by it; it didn’t run or smudge, so it worked really well as a setting spray. I’m not the only one that liked it!

2- Nourish Organic Skin Solve
This moisturizer is exactly what is says… organic! Most organic products tend to be more expensive than the typical products because it’s considered trendy. This moisturizer, however, is reasonably priced at only $20! I love this because everyone should be able to have products that are safe and rid of harsh chemicals. As I’m getting older, my skin is becoming more sensitive so this is the type of beauty product that I’ve been gravitating towards.
With ingredients like pumpkin butter, rosehip, & sunflower oil and a cream-to-oil base, this moisturizer left my skin feeling great! And because the formula turns into an oil when applying, a little bit goes a long way.

3- Lacoste Live Eau de Toilette, Men’s Cologne
This is a great cologne! I already love the Lacoste brand. They always produce quality products, so this one was a no-brainer. Because it’s a men’s cologne, I unfortunately couldn’t wear it but I gave it to my future brother-in-law and he loves it! It has a wonderful, natural wood smell. With the holiday’s right around the corner, this could be a great gift for a man in your life.

4- OLEHENRIKSEN 3 Little Wonders Skincare Travel Set
This product is a 3-step facial cleansing system. I haven’t tried it yet because I’m currently sampling a new system and I don’t want anything to effect my results. However, I did check out some reviews and it looks like a great product that works well for sensitive skin. Most of all, the first step contains collagen so while cleansing and preventing breakouts, you’ll also be maintaining youthful skin.
PROS CONS
– Great for sensitive skin – I find it expensive ($72 for 3 1-oz bottles), but
– Doesn’t use parabens, sulfates, or phthalates the mini-set is only $24 & you may find the cost
– Brightens skin & reduces redness to be worth it after giving it a try

5- Laura Geller GlamLASH Dramatic Volumizing Mascara
This Laura Geller glamLASH mascara is a nice product if you want natural looking lashes! While I didn’t experience more volume than I have with other products, this mascara did give my lashes a noticeable lift without causing clumps. A lot of the mascaras I use give dramatic volume to my lashes, but make them unnaturally dark and clumpy. I really liked the natural look this mascara gave me!
PROS CONS
– Natural look – A little expensive ($24 for a 0.28 oz tube)
– Some volume – Doesn’t give as much volume as you would expect
– No clumps from the name

6- New York Times Keychain with Charms
What a great keychain! This is a ‘customer favorite’ from the New York Times store and it’s a must-have for anyone that lives in the tri-state area or anyone that recently visited the city and wants a souvenir. With iconic symbols- like a taxi, an apple, and a NY Times crossword puzzle- you can’t help but think of New York when you see it!
