How To Wear Loungewear on Christmas without the Frump
Christmas will be here before we know it! Have you thought about what you’re going to wear yet? Not every family gathering is a formal, fashionable affair right off of Pinterest. Sometimes all you need is a cute outfit to cozy up next to the fireplace! Comfort is key and that’s especially true if you’re hosting, helping your host, or chasing after small children. With loungewear being so popular now, it makes it that much more acceptable to wear for a holiday gathering.
So, here’s How To Wear Loungewear on Christmas without the Frump!
What would you say if I told you that you could be both comfortable and chic at the same time? It sounds crazy, but what if it’s not? Try it out this holiday following these steps.
BLING X2
That’s right, double the bling! You know that Coco Chanel quote- “…before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off?” Well in this instance, add one more! Chunky jewelry is key because a little bit of sparkle goes a long way in bringing your look from casual to luxe.
DARK LEGGINGS
When choosing a pair of leggings, you’ll definitely want to stick with a dark color. I love black because it’s classic and it makes it look a bit more dressy than a pair of heather gray leggings would, for instance.
TRENDY & LUXE DETAILS
When choosing a sweater and accessories, stick with details that are trendy and luxe. In my look, the sweater is a turtleneck with a slight high-low hem and a side slit. There’s also a hint of glitter in the fabric, which you can’t see in the photo, and snakeskin accents on the handbag. These are all great examples!

I'm 100% into the loungewear trend and I think that if you're a relatively stylish person, it's really not too difficult to pull off without looking frumpy. As always, these are great tips/ideas. I love the statement ring!
