Friday Favorites featuring Block Heels + Link-Up
Happy Friday! At last, it’s the weekend again. For this week’s Friday Favorites, we’re featuring our favorite block-heel sandals. Block heels have been a big trend lately and frankly, do we even need to wonder why? They’re comfortable! Having a thicker heel is the best way to ensure stability and comfort while still having the benefits of wearing a heel.
As seasons go on, we see the same trends coming back around with new variations. This spring, I’m seeing a lot of platform block heels! Are the Spice Girls back? I haven’t tried any on so I’m not sure if they’re even practical, but they look pretty cool! There are several other popular styles. Read on to learn more!

MINIMALIST
Sometimes simplicity is the best! You can never go wrong with a classic, minimalist style. It’s a great style to invest in because it will match with nearly everything and it almost never goes out of style.
COLOR BLOCK
I love contrasting colors and color blocking is the perfect way to achieve the ultimate contrast. I love contrasting neutrals like black and white or black, white, and tan. Brights can be fun, too!

SUMMER FUN
This isn’t a real ‘style’ but hey, maybe it should be! These sandals are just cute and fun for the summer. Each has an element that’s ideal for the warmer weather: brights, lace-up, and nautical stripes.

METALLIC HEEL
This is my favorite style! It’s such a subtle detail but it really makes all the difference. I love that little glimmer on the heel when they move!

PLATFORM
Remember these from the 90’s? I was a huge Spice Girl fan, so this style is a little nostalgic for me. I remember wearing platform sneakers in 4th grade and thinking I was hot stuff! I’m not sure how comfortable or practical these are but there’s something so mod about them.
