Blair Waldorf has gone down in fashion history as one of the ‘best dressed’ television characters of all time. Even though Gossip Girl has been off air for four years, you can still catch episodes on Netflix and the show is still an inspiration to modern day fashion. So if you’re wondering how to dress like Blair Waldorf, I have the answers for you here!

An easy way to channel your inner Blair Waldorf is to wear hats and headbands. Over the years, she has worn an assortment of fun hats and hair pieces but one that she always seems to come back to is the cloche hat. Here’s how to wear a cloche hat like Blair!

HOW TO DRESS LIKE BLAIR WALDORF: CLOCHE HATS

Cloche hats are a symbol of the roaring 1920’s and today, they remind me of Blair Waldorf and the upper east side during winter time. By simply adding this hat to your look, you’ll be your neighborhood fashionista within seconds and you’ll channel your inner Blair.

1- CURLY HAIR, LONG OR SHORT

Cloche hats look great on curly hair, both long and short. In this photo shoot, my hair was really long. If you follow me on Instagram, you know I recently got my hair cut. It’s about shoulder length and the hat looks just as good!

2- FEMININE COAT, LIKE A PEA COAT OR CAPE

Cloche hats have a very feminine style so they’re best paired with an equally feminine coat! Try wearing yours with a pea coat, cape, or fur coat.

3- HEELED BOOTS

Because cloche hats are typically worn during the winter, they look great with boots! Whether you’re into ankle booties, over-the-knee boots, or anything in between- boots are the way to go. Just remember: the higher the heel, the closer to Blair! She always wears super high heels, so you’ll definitely want to go with a pair of boots that have the highest heel that you’re willing to wear.
