Sleeveless blazers are one of my favorite modern office trends. Over the past few years, work wear has taken on a totally different vibe. Instead of the typical trouser pants and blazer combo, we’ve introduced skinny trouser pants and longline sleeveless blazers to our wardrobes among many other new work-wear trends. You can never go wrong with a sleeveless blazer, in or out of work, because of its trendy and modern style.

With every new trend comes the question: how do I wear it? Here’s how to wear a sleeveless blazer to work!

How To Wear A Sleeveless Blazer to Work

When wearing a sleeveless blazer to work, I love to stick with an otherwise straight silhouette. Aside from the blazer, the rest of my look is fitted. This keeps the proportions in check so you can style a flattering look every time. Here are a few key pieces to incorporate with your sleeveless blazer:

SKINNY TROUSER PANTS
Skinny trouser pants are the latest thing in work-wear. Despite what you may think, these are actually more flattering than any other trouser pant I’ve ever worn and most of them come with an amazing amount of stretch in it. They are comfortable, stylish, and keep you looking professional all day.

A FITTED, LONG SLEEVE OR 3/4 SLEEVE TOP
A fitted, long sleeve (or 3/4 sleeve top) is definitely a closet staple, with or without a sleeveless blazer. I’ve really been loving the 3/4 sleeve turtleneck this season! These tops are ideal for tucking into pants or skirts and despite being fitted, they are incredibly flattering. I love to tuck one of these tops into a pair of skinny trouser pants when I wear my sleeveless blazer.

HEELS OR HEELED BOOTS
Heels just make everything look better, don’t they? They make your legs look leaner and longer no matter what you’re wearing. Because of this, they are essential when wearing a longline blazer or jacket to keep your silhouette in balance.
