Cold Shoulder Tops: How To Transition To Spring In Seconds
We’re transitioning into another season and cold shoulder tops are still the ‘it’ trend. It’s about to be spring and these days in New Jersey, we never know what the weather will be like. One day it’s 70 degrees and the next it’s 30 degrees. We’re not quite ready to pack away the winter sweaters but we aren’t ready to go full throttle spring either. The struggle is real, my friends! So, that leaves us with the ultimate question; how can I transition to spring within a moments notice? The answer is: cold shoulder tops!
Today, I’m showing you my favorite way to ease into the warmer weather and how you can, too. Scroll on down for all of my secrets!

Why Cold Shoulder Tops?
The answer to this question is simple. Cold shoulder tops are easy and breezy! I’ve been spotting these tops in lovely spring prints and a loose-fitting blouse is perfect for the in-between weather when it’s just warm enough to go out without a coat but it still isn’t must-find-pool weather. While it’s long-sleeved, that cold shoulder lets the cool breeze in so you aren’t too hot.

How To Transition To Spring In Seconds With Your Cold Shoulder Top:
1- KEEP THE BOOTS & JEANS OUT
Don’t pack away your boots and jeans quite yet! While it may feel like spring, it’s still too chilly to wear those cute sandals and high-waisted jean shorts. Your favorite skinny jeans and ankle booties will keep your look grounded in the true current season.
2- INCORPORATE LIGHT COLORED ACCESSORIES, LIKE BELTS & BAGS
It’s time to take out your favorite light colored, or pastel, accessories. This will add another touch of spring to your look without going overboard. For this look, I’m using my pale blue handbag with gray snakeskin accent handles!
3- ADD IN YOUR FAVORITE SUMMER BOHO JEWELRY
That’s right, even jewelry can be seasonal! While most jewelry is seasonless, certain styles are more appropriate for specific seasons. For instance, you wouldn’t wear a velvet choker during the summer. I always find that boho style jewelry is perfect for the spring and summer! For this look, I’m wearing my turquoise drops. Anything with turquoise, beads, tassels, or nature-inspired are usually a safe bet.
