Trend Alert: Colorblock Swimsuits + Link-Up

Happy Friday! It’s another Friday, so we’re back this week with our usual Friday Favorites collection. We’re shaking things up this week with a special theme. I may be jumping the gun here but I just had to share my favorite trend: colorblock swimsuits! Believe it or not, summer is right around the corner and now is the time to get your new swimsuits before all of the good ones are gone. Seriously!
Scroll down to check out our favorites, share your favorites, and interact with some of the most fabulous bloggers around!
1- Net-A-Porter Ballerina Colorblock Swimsuit
I love this version of the colorblocking because of the asymmetry. In most cases, colorblocking is very symmetrical so I really like that this swimsuit is different. It also gives it a ‘wrap’ effect, which creates a flattering silhouette!

2- Express Lace Up Top & Express Papaya Contrast Piped Bikini Bottoms on sale!
Who said you can’t create your own colorblocking? If you’re on a budget, you can mix and match bikini pieces to create the colorblock style. I like the piping detail on the bottoms and the black top pulls it together nicely.

3- Express Colorblock Bandeau Top & High-Waist Swim Bottoms
This is another flattering print! The bandeau top definitely isn’t for everyone but I do love the way the colorblocking is. The aqua section is in an hourglass shape; this pulls the eyes inward and accentuates the waist, creating a flattering silhouette.

4- Topshop Scalloped One-Piece Swimsuit
I love the classic black and white style. It’s chic and sophisticated! The combination of colors and scallop detailing creates a really feminine look. I could totally see this swimsuit paired with a big, black floppy hat and oversized sunglasses.

5- Tory Burch Colorblock Wrap One-Piece
This suit is pretty cool because it combines several different trends; colorblocking and cut-out detailing. I love the navy and green color combination because it’s unique.

6- Express Colorblock Bandeau Top & Victoria’s Secret Colorblock Cheeky Bottoms
This top and bottom aren’t meant to be worn together but I love this pairing because both pieces have the colorblock style and the differing shades of pink gives it a monochrome look. I think it works!

I love colorblock swimsuits! The more colorful the better 🙂
I’ve never owned a black or white swimsuit, I think bright colors look best on me because I have pale skin
